In the afternoon there were 25 players entered in the singles competition. The final was between two Wellington Junior Represenatives. Frank Fu defeated Chun-Kiet Vong 11-9 11-9 6-11 11-7. In the playoff for third place, Min Su defeated Martin Young 8-11 11-9 11-8 5-11 11-8.

Winter Interclub Statistics after Week 11 (Aug 7-8)

Teams: 2012 Winter Week 11 TEAMS

Individuals: 2012 Winter Week 11 INDIVIDUALS

There are only a few week left before the finals night and some close match-ups are still to go, so 1st and 2nd placings for teams are still up for grabs. Note that finals night will be September 11, i.e. two weeks after the last regular draw week #14 (finals night was originally scheduled for 4/9 but this clashed with the Secondary Schools championships in Auckland which are that week and affects some likely finalists).

NB: The draws are here.
